Purpose Statement
The Church Health Team (CHT- hereafter) exists to shepherd and equip congregations toward the effective fulfillment of their callings as bodies, courts, and missions.
Responsibilities and Guidelines
- Providing the resources necessary to promote and encourage a climate of growth and vitality among our churches; - Encouraging mercy ministry within and among our churches; - Assisting churches in developing their ministries, including, but not limited to, college, youth, diaconate, women, men, administration, helps, and world and urban missions; - Promoting ministries out of our churches that would be of value to our Presbytery and city (including CityNet and MercyNet); - Coordinating training/education with ST; and - Providing opportunities for fellowship and prayer among our diaconates. - [It is imperative that deacons and women be members of thisteam.]
